Pilates By The C is a fully equipped STOTT PILATES®, private training studio located in Gloucester, MA. Carol Earle, a Lead Instructor Trainer for Merrithew, has been teaching Pilates for over 20 years and has trained and certified Pilates Instructors across the globe.
At Pilates By The C, our mission is to empower individuals through the transformative practice of Pilates.
I believe in fostering a supportive community where everyone can enhance their physical and mental well-being.

Carol Earle has been teaching Pilates since 2002. She specializes in the STOTT PILATES®, method (a Merrithew Brand). In 2003, she became a Merrithew “Instructor Trainer” teaching others to become Instructors in STOTT PILATES and all of the other education that Merrithew offers (Total Barre, ZenGa, HALO, CORE and Fascial Movement). Carol is part of the programming team at Merrithew, developing new education and workshops for the worldwide company. She has presented on behalf of Merrithew at Fitness conferences and has trained and certified instructors around the globe.
For the last 23 years, Carol has worked with PJ O’Clair at Praxis Performance and Wellness and Northeast Pilates Education Center.
Carol has a background in Dance. She graduated from SUNY College at Purchase with a BFA in Dance. For 10 years she was the co-director of the WindhoverDance Company and has staged several works of Modern Dance Legend, Doris Humphrey on Dance Companies and at High Schools and Universities.

Pilates exercises are done either on the Mat, several Barrels or a variety of spring loaded equipment. The focus is on form, breath and alignment. It is the perfect enhancement to your regular workout routine.
